Rebates
Rebates, without the guesswork
El Paso Electric runs efficiency programs for qualifying equipment. We don't promise one, and we don't print its amounts. Here is how we handle it.
- 01
Ask when you book
Tell us you want to know about rebates. We note it on the visit.
- 02
We check the current rules
We read the program's rules for equipment and dates when we write your quote, not before.
- 03
The quote marks what qualifies
You see which model the rules cover and what the program asks you to keep.
- 04
Paperwork
We fill in our part of the form and tell you which part is yours.
- 05
The program pays it
The rebate comes from the program, on its own schedule. We cannot speed it up.
- 06
No amounts on this page
Amounts are the program's and they change. Ask us what your utility offers today.

About rebates
How much is the rebate?
That is set by the program, not by us, and it changes. We read the current rules when we write your quote.
Does a rebate cover repairs?
Programs are written around qualifying equipment. We tell you what the current rules say about your job.
Does a rebate change my quote?
No. The quote shows our price and, separately, what the program asks for. The rebate is paid by the program.
